Truck Hire
At Able Self Storage and Removals we have car licence trucks and utes that can come with a sack trolley and ties to secure your load. Furniture felts are available for hire, as are piano trolleys and lifting straps. At Mt Barker truck hire is coordinated from our head office. In the Adelaide Hills, truck hire is central for pickup and delivery. We also have ute hire Mt Barker office.
Our truck rental is up to 24 hours, starting from 8.30 in the morning and can be picked up any time after this. All trucks are due back at 8.30am the next day. You may be able to pick up the hire truck at 4.30pm the day before, if it is available. An early pick up fee will be charged. The customer is charged for all fuel (diesel) used and also kms travelled in excess of 100 km.
When booking a hire truck, please specify if you want a truck with a walk board or an electric tailgate lifter.
Please Note: It is the Hirers responsibility to comply with Vehicle Weight Carrying Capacities.
Trailer Hire
We have open trailers, cage trailers, box trailers, stock trailers, towable toilets and enclosed trailers. Hires are from our Head Office at Mt Barker.
Our enclosed trailers come with a sack trolley and some webbing ties for securing your load to the sides of the trailer to protect your contents. Legal towing weights must always be complied with.
We also hire furniture felts to protect the contents being moved.
Open trailers are 7 x 4 , 8 x 5 and 15 x 6 in size. The 15 x 6 is used as a car trailer as it has ramps.(1 trailer also tilts)
Cage trailers are 7 x 4, 8 x 5 and 10 x 5.
Enclosed trailers are 8 x 5, 10 x 5, 10 x 6 and 12 x 6.
Towable toilets and onsite toilets.
If you’re moving from Mt Barker to Nairne, Littlehampton, Hahndorf, Echunga or anywhere in the Adelaide Hills or Victor Harbor to anywhere in the Fleurieu area this is an economical way to move.
Even if you have a small load to move a long distance this is an option but we don’t allow trailers to go interstate. Towable toilets and site toilets are also availiable for hire.
